Oh well. It continues the book/film's grand tradition of nicking (not very original) ideas from all over, and anyway, I suspect that the Jedi knights may be a more accurate portrait of religious life (They're a bit like a Buddhist Teutonic Order, and good heavens, that's a scary thought).
