I'd choose something between the first two options (I ticked the first, in the end).

It was probably the best episode of this series, I think, give or a take a few flaws (annoying accents, and the tiresomely predictable appearance of Daleks - but I quite like the Daleks, so that's ok), and I'd certainly tune in for next week's. I expect it'll be quite easy to follow without having seen the first part, though.

I basically only caught the last fifteen minutes or so myself -- it looked like a good one, and you probably want to at least find a summary of it before watching next time as there was a Significant Development at the end of the episode.

Worth watching. The next episode promises to be better (going by our fmaily standard of the more monsters the better, especially murderous sink plunger weilding creatures)

To be honest, this week's RAdio Times cover probably tells you everything you actually need to know to cope with next week's episode.
