I believe the girl screamed because her abductor was impersonating Sherlock at the time which certainly implies there was a Sherlock mask/duplicate coat around the place, though.

I'd forgotten the Dying Detective. I wondered if the not letting him move was something to do with sightlines (his insistence that he keep looking at him is also suggestive, as it sounds like classic misdirection).
