Sigh. I rashly went into Virgin looking for the newly-restored Invasion (a Second Doctor story, featuring Cybermen, recently restored - and I hope it's more sensible than Cyberwoman, but I think the odds on this are good), and walked out not only with it but with the Fourth Doctor City of Death, which I haven't seen either.
There are probably worse balms to apply to a broken heart, but I think this proves conclusively, if there were any doubt, that I am not a Girly Girl.

Date: 2006-11-10 11:59 am (UTC)† The unhappy mix of the two featured on Torchwood: Cyberwoman (only with added pointless sexual fetishisation - I mean, for crying out loud, why would the Cybermen be interested in either well-defined metal cleavage or, sillier still, high heels) wasn't as scary as either, though. Sometimes I think New Who and its sibling are written by idiots who are incapable of thinking with their brains, rather than other parts of the anatomy.
