Sigh. I rashly went into Virgin looking for the newly-restored Invasion (a Second Doctor story, featuring Cybermen, recently restored - and I hope it's more sensible than Cyberwoman, but I think the odds on this are good), and walked out not only with it but with the Fourth Doctor City of Death, which I haven't seen either.
There are probably worse balms to apply to a broken heart, but I think this proves conclusively, if there were any doubt, that I am not a Girly Girl.

Be of good cheer - hearts are remarkably robust things, even if they smart a bit at awkward moments.

I am also looking forward to the Conspiracy across Space and Time in City of Death, which apparently involves the Mona Lisa. A bit like The Da Vinci code, only written by Douglas Adams and with a more realistic approach to history... /snark.

I was always terrified of the Cybermen. Still am, a bit, although they've rather been replaced by the Borg.

† The unhappy mix of the two featured on Torchwood: Cyberwoman (only with added pointless sexual fetishisation - I mean, for crying out loud, why would the Cybermen be interested in either well-defined metal cleavage or, sillier still, high heels) wasn't as scary as either, though. Sometimes I think New Who and its sibling are written by idiots who are incapable of thinking with their brains, rather than other parts of the anatomy.

Sorry to hear about the heart...
Seriously though, *hugs*
