Well, that was different. I've never had chopsticks at formal hall before. Given the incompetence with which I use them and the cost of dry-cleaning a gown, it's probably just as well that this doesn't often happen.

Try "White Wizard" from Lakeland (not a shop I usually recommend, due to their selling moth repellent guaranteed not to have been tested on animals). I think it's basically white paraffin, and you do have to scrub a bit, but it's got red wine out of white aertex for me, and grubby marks out of silk collars.

Actually, I've always found Lakeland's stuff pretty reliable, but I'd never noticed the cruelty free moth repellent.

("Now, I'd like you to imagine you're a moth, and then give this scent marks out of ten for repulsiveness...")

I suppose the real question is, are moths animals?
