Jul. 14th, 2008 03:48 pmIncidentally, I had a really odd dream last night, based on Heroes, in which I had developed the power of flight, and was trying to help Nathan Petrelli rescue some original character (who could read minds, but nevertheless wasn't Matt) from Sylar, only I woke up just as we had come face to face with Sylar. This is probably a good thing, on the whole.
I think this is the only time I can recall I've dreamed of flying. (I also can't work out why I was dreaming about Heroes, as I've not watched it for ages, and I'd been watching The Doctor's Daughter before going to bed, but then the unconscious is odd. Also, I don't particularly like Nathan, though at least he's less wet than his brother...)
Why yes, I am bored (reading rather tiresome fifty year old thesis which appears to have been not so much printed as stenciled onto baking paper, and failing to translate 'Diktatbestimmungen'); I suppose waffling about dreams on LJ is a bit of a give away.
ETA: Dear author of fifty year old thesis, why couldn't you have given references to books and chapters as well as just to pages and lines? I admit that there was only one edition of Mechthild about at the time, but it was notoriously unreliable even then, and you must have known there was another edition in the offing.
... OK, I concede that it didn't actually materialise until the nineties, but nobody could actually have predicted that.
