Firstly: what on earth would inspire someone to write Eomer/Frodo MPREG? It's bad enough in the HP-fandom, when you've at least got the hand-wavium of magic (though it's still a bloody stupid idea), but ... in Middle Earth, with the world's most random pairing...?

Secondly, on to happier matters. I feel compelled to point out to those of you reading this who like Doctor Who to [livejournal.com profile] nostalgia_lj's ficlet in the Marthathon, in which the Doctor tries another approach to Doing Domestic:

Contains references to cricket which are worth the price of admission alone... er, you know what I mean

Do Eomer and Frodo even exchange lines ever?

Maybe off-screen, at the troth-plighting of Eowyn and Faramir in Edoras. That's when the Mpregnation occurred, too. ;)

LOL, that's seriously the most bizarre thing ever.

Yeah, I can't stop laughing long enough to think about how horrible that really is.

Actually there was a pretty decent Faramir/Frodo story many years ago (before the films, I seem to recall), which is equally mind-boggling if you stop to think ... but that wasn't Mpreg. So THAT'S alright then!

(Also the writer slotted the affair neatly into Canon).

(Actually this is pretty rich coming from me - who slashed Aragorn with Shagrat)

Oh, so there's Éomer/Frodo, too? I had heard of Faramir/Frodo before, where the mpregnation of the wee hobbit (why is it always the hobbits that are knocked up?) occurs because of the magical qualities of Faramir's super sperm. Yes, fandom broke my brain.

And [livejournal.com profile] nostalgia_lj's contribution to the Marthathon is utter brilliance indeed. But I should also point out [livejournal.com profile] seti_drd's ficlet for my request to you -- it has medicine, ankle-twisting and zombies (http://community.livejournal.com/lifeonmartha/21739.html), and I think you might like it. And it will help you to take your mind of the LOTR MPREG.

If you could syphon off the energy created by JRRT gyrating in Wolvercote Cemetary, you could power the entire county of Oxfordshire for years.

But think of the environment! And the snarky black Dalek was funny, anyway.
