Yes, the Horrible Wrongness was literary and fairly disastrous (for the characters), but all reached a satisfying and happy conclusion....

Have you not read Susan Howatch's books before? I thought you'd have been a dead cert! They really are amazing - I just recently discovered that she'd written a newer sequel trilogy to the six Starbridge novels, and spent much of last week devouring them :)

I can't believe that I haven't read them before either, and I will have to get hold of more, stat (though I probably should wait till I have more time, as I will do what I did today, and spend all day reading and not getting any work done.)

Oh well, it's good to have new books to look forward to!
