I can haz haggis!

Also, I spent the Waterstones gift card my aunt gave me on (a) The Yiddish Policeman's Union, (b) the sequel to Larklight and, c, [livejournal.com profile] rj_anderson's Knife. Which I am half way through already, as it is doing a worryingly good job of sabotaging my work ethic.

Frozen wouldn't be the first choice but would actually probably work quite well. If you want your rasps to be whole then mix it with the rasps still frozen and then let them thaw, otherwise thaw and then mix.

(adds to tomorrow's shopping list...)

I think I need that on a t-shirt:

IM IN UR LIBRARY SABOTAGING UR WORK ETHIC

Also, YAY for Starcross! I am ridiculously fond of those books, and Book 2 has what I consider to be one of the funniest jokes in the whole series (it involves Myrtle and the illustrator, so you'll know it when you see it).

Hurrah haggis!

We have some, but are currently debating what is actually happening on Saturday night before we make firm plans for eating it.

Also, hurrah books!

Does your college do Burns night? every year that I have been here I have FAILED to attend a Burns supper- there seem to be hardly any. My own college Social Secretaries think I'm referring to pyromania when I mention Burns night which saddens and angers me a great deal :(

Hurrah for haggis!
(Which I've never actually eaten, sad to say.)

And I didn't know there was a sequel to Larklight. I suppose I'll have to go looking for that.

Hope you enjoy both books and stuffed sheep's stomach!
