Name one character from any fandom I know and I will give you three facts about them from my personal canon.
Fandoms: Harry Potter, Doctor Who (though I reserve the right to do someone else here; I don't know canon well enough for Doctors 5-8 to be confident of being able to do their companions): I'd also be keen to have a crack at: Star Treks TOS and DS9, Dalziel and Pascoe (book canon only, obviously), Life on Mars, Patrick O'Brian, Swallows and Amazons, Narnia, and John Buchan's Richard Hannay-verse.
ETA: and the Wimsey-verse, of course!

Date: 2007-05-23 03:31 pm (UTC)1. Was always slightly jealous, even though she loves her, of Lucy, who was always everyone's favourite. The fact that she can see why doesn't make things any better. It would never even have occured to her that Lucy had moments of being jealous of her.
2. Was utterly sick of having to be the responsible, grown-up one. All she wanted was a normal, carefree girlhood, with parties and friends and nice clothes and dancing. She never much cared for young men - the attention was exciting and some of them were charming, but the thought of actually marrying them made her feel trapped and frightened. She wasn't sure why, but it had something to do with a dream she once had, about being trapped in a house in a hot, dusty city.
3. Got to Narnia - the real Narnia - in the end. I'm not sure how, but "once a king or queen in Narnia, always a king or queen in Narnia"

Date: 2007-05-23 03:39 pm (UTC)Was at Gordonstoun, and loved every minute (so he tells himself, more or less forgetting how homesick he was at first)
Is an excellent country dancer (his favourite is the Reel of the 51st), as befits a Scot of good family and the product of the Scots Guards. Although he won't admit it, though, he never cared for deer shooting much (and even less for grouse). The stalking part's fun, but it doesn't seem sporting to shoot things that can't shoot back. Fishing, on the other hand, is a decent way to pass an afternoon.
Fancied Liz Shaw something rotten, but had no idea how to approach that sort of girl.

I can definitely see him still carrying a torch for Liz while being quite happily married to a tweedy WI type and having several children (the boys would go to Gourdonston, of course!).
