May. 8th, 2006 12:45 amI liked The Girl in the Fireplace, despite the odd caveat.
But tell me: I've heard all the arguments as to whether or not the Doctor is half human (of course he isn't!).
What I am currently wondering is, where did he get the streak of Vulcan from?
And now I am for my bed. Finally.

Date: 2006-05-09 12:20 pm (UTC)As far as spirituality goes, any of Caroline Walker Bynum's books are worth a look. And Jeffrey Hamburger has some really good art history/ theology ones, but they're very focused on Germany.

Date: 2006-05-09 12:25 pm (UTC)Caroline Walker Bynum came to Rutgers this past January! It was really great to see her in person and hear a paper.
I will investigate Doctor Who. We have a BBC America channel and I have no idea why they wouldn't air it, but I haven't been able to find it on there. Strange!
