This is an interesting meme, though I'm slightly confused as to what it means by 'close'.

What does this all mean??

Basically, it identifies friends of friends, or friends of friends of friends. Trust comes into it because the argument runs 'You 'trust' your flist, they 'trust' theirs, therefore these people are trusted by people you trust...

It weights towards people who are on several of your flists, I think, hence the rankings, and people who are on small flists are also viewed as more trustworthy (becasue the truster is more selective, though this is flawed, as it doesn't consider how old the journal is)
