Anyone know if there are luggage lockers/ left luggage facilities in Kings Cross station, or have they all been removed in the interest of Preventing Terrorists?

Incidentally, does anyone know if there's anywhere in Oxford, in the vicinity of St Giles, where you can get coffee and food of half past eight of a Sunday morning?

Well, I remember St Giles Café as well as the G'n'D's in Jericho, but I have no idea whether they are open at 8:30 a.m. I never tried to find that out... (Am not even sure whether this time of day actually exists.)

MacDonalds serves porridge for breakfast now? Hee! How very ... British.

Chips and cheeseburgers at eight o'clock in the morning might be a bit rich, though.

There are no lockers, but I think the left luggage place on platform 8 is still open - at least it was a couple of weeks ago. You probably have to be x-rayed and blood tested before you can leave a bag...

Not sure about Kings X (prob not), but the adjacent BL has luggage lockers and a cloakroom.

It's a while since I've been to King's Cross but the left luggage office (privatised) was still there within the last two years, as [livejournal.com profile] bookwormsarah says.

As for St Giles eateries on a Sunday morning, I think that G&Ds might be your best or most likely option.

Clearly I need to start running a breakfast cafe in my flat to cater to the Sunday morning gap in the market.
