Should I be worried about the fact that my major response to "The Trial of Tony Blair" - which I finally saw the other night - was to Catholic-pick it? (apart from my feeling that the characterisation of Gordon Brown was incredibly lazy - for instance, there's no evidence that I'm aware of that he doesn't like kids, and a few signs in the opposite direction)

There's no evidence of which I'm aware either, but it does seem to be an (increasingly?) common impression. I was reading a comment piece in some newspaper or other (unfortunately I can't remember exactly when, or what paper) commenting on the apparent (very subtle) spinning from Cameron's camp that seems to portray him as a 'family man', as though Gordon Brown isn't - it also made some interesting remarks about the handling of Brown's daughter who died, and Cameron's disabled son, but unfortunately I can't recall any detail.

I haven't actually seen 'The Trial of Tony Blair' - would you recommend it?
