To answer the second, more straightforward, question first, "chapel" means any free Protestant church (i.e., not the Church of England, known as "church"). It's probably Methodist, but it might be Presbyterian or Congregationalist or possibly even Baptist.
Anglo-Catholics are Anglicans who see continutity between the pre-and post reformation church as very important, and who broadly speaking share the Roman Catholic view of the sacraments (though some Anglo-Catholics believe in the ordination of women, and some don't), saints, etc.
