I've just realised that I have very few icons with women in them. This state of affairs should be rectified.

Any recs for good sources? (Fannish or non-fannish - if we're talking fannish, I'd particularly like recs for Doctor Who, Star Trek, Firefly, and Narnia).

Fooish Icons over on LJ has a lot of non-fannish women. (She mods 14 Valentines and has a bunch of posts of women up for that.) Eikon25 has mostly PB icons, but also some of Tosh and Gwen from Torchwood. september_icons has a few River Song and Amy Pond (with and without 11) icons. And it's not on your list, but I know you like Tolkien; she also has nice LotR and Silmarillion icons. Book Icons has quite a bit of Narnia, and also a lot of other literary heroines. :)
