Thoughts for the New Year

Wird's besser? Wird's schlimmer? fragt man alljährlich.
Seien wir ehrlich: Leben ist immer lebensgefährlich!
Will things get better or worse, we ask each year.
Let's be honest: life's always life-threatening.
Which you could take as depressing, but I have always read as encouraging - as well as witty. I'm not much of a person for new year's resolutions, but I am going to try to stop worrying about what might happen and go for it...
