Oh, that is lovely. (I want to work up an extended metaphor using staying afloat in fragile craft here, but that's probably because I'm really tired.)

I heard him a fair few times when I was at Cambridge, including at least one sermon, but since I was specialising in New Testament rather than church history, I didn't go to his regular lectures or get supervised by him or anything like that.
