I may have been a little irritated by the 'woe the weather is so extreme!' lamentations on Today this morning, and the general uselessness of the English...

Oxford never gets much snow. It's a bit rubbish, really (especially as it also manages to feel like the coldest place I've ever lived, which it isn't, by quite a long way)
