I shouldn't combine reading LJ with drinking tea, apparently - that is a truely awful pun.

I suspect the algorithm has difficulty believing anyone who can construct complex sentences would willingly vote for Dubya (would you have? Just curious). I did try it out with some Americans who I know voted Bush, and that's what the thing predicted.

So I don't know: perhaps it thinks British=equals close to France=practically a cheese-eating-surrender-monkey=must vote Kerry because at least he's not Bush?

All of the Catholics I know voted for Kerry, so it doesn't seem that far off. It's why New England is overwhelming blue. It's more the Protestants that vote conservative Republican.

I wonder if they even had Nader as an option? I got Kerry but voted for Nader in RL. (Far Left, to the socialist side.)

No, it was just Bush'n'Kerry.

I'm not an enormous Kerry fan, but I'd take him over Bush any day.

But after living with a household of Americans for a year, i've resigned myself to never quite understanding how US politics work.
