It's been in my head, despite all reservations about the nature of politics and the problems of the world. (I wish I could find the Hamish Henderson version, though).

To my shame I needed the translation - it's a great song even though I'm not one for romanticizing the Red Clydesiders (though a nephew of one of them lived about ten houses along from me when I was growing up).

I clicked for the fun of it, although my (spoken) Scots is not bad. That translation is rather dire, isn't it?
