The picture of McCain shambling after Obama like a drooling zombie posted at Making Light is the oddest thing I've seen in ages. Is it really genuine? And if so, what the hell is going on in it?

To be fair, I think the pyromanic section of the Anglican Communion overlaps fairly comprehensively with the high-church/ Anglo-Catholic bits... the Evangelicals, not so much.

*g* At the same church, the taper bearer set a crucifix on fire during passion week (when we had it covered in purple).

I keep expecting someone to set fire to something during Nine Lessons and Carols (too many people squished in, all carrying candles), but thus far we have escaped, probably only through the protection of Our Lady (unless it's J.H. Newman's missing miracle, of course)
