In the meantime, someof you may be interested in the Observer's series of photos of Barack Obama's team. They are not particularly highly polished - quite the reverse; Rahm Emmanuel looks scary (as is probably accurate), and appears to have been applying eyeshadow with a poker, while the picture of Hilary is remarkably unflattering. But that gives them a particular interest...
Also, Francis Wheen has a terrible conceit of himself, but this interview with him, and his account of life in the Private Eye office, as well as the odd recurrence of the seventies, is worth a read.
