Those of you who read the Guardian via its website may already have seen this, but I thought I'd share this wonderful video of Status Quo performing Pictures of Matchstick Men, back in 1968.
It's a wonderful record (well, I think so), but what really catches the attention is (a) the postively shagadelic outfits and (b) the fact that they all appear to be about twelve.
Oh, and Francis Rossi looks as if he's about to get the giggles, but frankly, who could blame him?
