In honour of Scotland's most famous poet (not, in fact, our best, but we love him anyway), born today in 1759, I bring you one of his finest lyrics - no, not 'My luve is like a red, red rose', though that's good also...

Because there's more to Burns than whisky and sex )

The Dante's Inferno Test has sent you to Purgatory!
Here is how you matched up against all the levels:
LevelScore
Purgatory (Repenting Believers)Extreme
Level 1 - Limbo (Virtuous Non-Believers)High
Level 2 (Lustful)Low
Level 3 (Gluttonous)Very Low
Level 4 (Prodigal and Avaricious)Very Low
Level 5 (Wrathful and Gloomy)Low
Level 6 - The City of Dis (Heretics)Very Low
Level 7 (Violent)Low
Level 8- the Malebolge (Fraudulent, Malicious, Panderers)Low
Level 9 - Cocytus (Treacherous)Very Low

Take the Dante's Inferno Test

Of course, this is dafter than most of the personality type quizzes, because on the orthodox Catholic model, if you are die a penitent Christian then you ought to go to Purgatory whatever you've done (unless, of course, you are a saint and a candidate for instant heaven). I don't think it asked any Christianity-specific questions, either, so on that basis Vergil really ought to be in heaven (Poor Vergil!)

I also think I come out too virtuous sounding on this, though not in a very attractive way... Maybe I should have been more lustful. It's the most cuddly of the sins....
