Tumorkritik, which appears to be a term of criticism of the German enlightenment, meaning a dislike of lumpy, overloaded baroque art (or Gothic, because bizarrely, at least in the early period there was a tendency to lump the two together, incredible as that seems to modern eyes).

I haven't the faintest idea what one would call this in English.

I'd love to be able to help, but I have no idea either! I love how German has so many incredibly specific words for things that require long explanations in English.
