Actually, there's something wierd and unedifying about sodomites† falling down dead at the birth of Christ, which is still pretty random. Not one of the better bits of AB, who is actually very good on the whole. But the chapter heading really is the most bizarre one I've seen in a long time...

† Whatever 'Sodomites' actually means in this context; it's probably closer to 'perverts' than 'gays'.
