Oh boy.

I particularly loved the unironic use of the term 'malcontents', and the chap who mentioned Leon Trotsky, Thomas More and George Tyrrel in the same breath.

If only the League of Nations had got it's act together to have a flag, all the unpleasantness could have been avoided - and Fr Noel would have been deeply disappointed. I have to say, I am glad I wasn't his bishop - though I think it's a better issue for the church to be having internal battles about than human sexuality...

I also note that he appeared to think that Communists were better than Non-Conformists.

Not a natural ecumenist, then.
