Anyone have any advice/ suggestions on where to go - and how does this multiple posting thing work? I'm increasingly inclined to think some sort of back up would be a good idea....

While there are alternatives to Live Journal, most appear to suffer from a similar vulnerability to commercial and political pressures. The fan-run alternatives do, of course, have other disadvantages ...

My impression is that my flisterst didn`t start multiple posting yet, most just got accounts with their LJ names at Greatest Journal and Journalfen in case they need them. I did, too, just because I want to be able to keep watching.

I actually supect that this is another kerfuffle about nothing - but backing up's always sensile, for reasons entirely unconnected with dirty stories....
