Is it just me, or does Bill Nighy as Davy Jones in POTC 2 looks as if he's escaped from the set of The Impossible Planet?

He certainly looks best described as "yuck".

I’ve never quite recovered from the discovery – having been listening to the thing for 15 years at the time – that Bill Nighy played Sam Gamgee in the BBC LotR adaptation.
