Books: If it makes you feel better, you can tell yourself that any and all theology (or tangentially related) is "work-related", due to coming in useful next year (God willing!)

My church is the kind where a whole lot of us go to the pub after Mass on a Sunday, or to be strictly accurate after the post-Mass coffee and biscuits at the back of church (actually, that pub's the nearest we have to a church hall...) It's a good thing, I think.

Pale and hoppy. Which seemed reasonable (at least, you couldn't call a beer like, say, Guinness 'Resurrection').

Though there's something a bit weird about asking for 'a half of Resurrection, please'...

Hmmm.... it's definitely a restorative at times.

Would that mean that a black and tan with this ale whereof you speak and Guinness could be called "the Resurrection and the Life"?

I tried to find out who the brewer was, not having heard of or tasted it before, and Googled it, only to find lots of references to a beer of that name from Baltimore. Presumably that isn't it.
