This sounds like somebody's taking the "see it from both sides" thing altogether too far.

Facebook ads are very strange--I keep getting ones for hunting gear. I can't figure out why--I don't hunt and don't list any outdoorsy interests. Perhaps it's the fact that I have friends in rural areas, and live in a place with an overpopulation of deer?

Could be. Mind you, gmail keeps offering me adverts for a ... thing which makes communion hygienic and hassle free by dispensing little individually sealed pots of wine and bread (I think like those awful milk things you can't open without sealing), so... who knows what the algorythms ar up to.
