Happy Birthday to dr_biscuit. Hope you have a good day, and thank you so much for introducing me to Leonard Cohen; even after a short acquaintance, some of his songs have become really, really important to me. (You'll be amused to hear that I have also made a Cohen convert via the unlikely medium of a sermon...)

Some years back I had a dream that I was 16 again. I was not a happy 16 year old, and in the dream it was rather a crushing blow. Then I realised something. Dream-16-years-old-again-me, remembered the life of Dream/Real-24ish-years-old-me, including musical taste. This time, late teenagehood would be OK, because this time, I knew about Leonard Cohen. And I would tell the others, and we would all be OK.

Leonard spans all boundaries, I'm glad you've found him!
