Jan. 6th, 2010 10:25 amOutpost Gallifrey reports, in fabulously insane news, that Bjorn Anderson and Benny Ulvaeus approached RTD with a plan to make a Torchwood musical.
Of course, given John Barrowman's background, you can sort of see how the idea entered their minds, but it still seems rather hard to imagine. Not that this has stopped me trying to make up possible lyrics based on Abba songs...
"I was sick and tired of everything, when you called me that night from Cardiff" (Possibly Mickey or Martha, on arriving at Torchwood).
"Gallifrey! I was defeated, you won the war." (Which sounds rather like a bad-taste Doctor/ Master ship-anthem, actually, so possibly more one for Doctor Who: the Musical (Super-slashy edition)?)
"Can you hear the drums, Ianto?" romantic number, Jack to Ianto (Little does Jack know that it's actually Lisa banging about in the basement)...
Anyone have further ideas?
