I mus admit that this place has always sounded like my idea of hell, and come to that, always suggested the question And Babylon, many times demolished/ Who raised it up so many times?. Except Babylon was, I suspect, more worth the effort than Dubai World and firework displays you can see from the moon...

On a less puritanical note (?) I must now finally do a hand wool wash, so that I may have some jumpers to wear. Not that I'm putting off dealing with certain terrifying forms, at all...
