Mar. 20th, 2009 09:32 amOff to meet/ be interviewed by large numbers of people. Um, yay?
Two days ago I did a FB 'what kind of Anglican are you?' quiz and came out as High Church, rather than Anglo-Catholic, causing me to sulk (largely because the high church description just talked about a fondness for vestments and bells-and-smells, whereas the Anglo-Catholic one referred to a sacramental approach to the world and a concern for social justice†).
This morning I did the 'what famous theologian are you?', and was extremely disconcerted to come out as Jean Calvin (despite having gone for answers favouring the Real Presence, Purgatory, etc). Took the test again and came out as CS Lewis, who I wouldn't exactly class as a theologian in the Augustine/ Aquinas/ Luther class, but is at least comprehensible.....
And now I must go and get the bus.
† Though it didn't actually, you know, ask about any of that in the quiz.
