May. 7th, 2008 03:14 pmOne of these days, I promise, I'll post something that isn't an Anglican weblog - but I did want to link to this post by the Bishop of Bucks, on what was surely the only monastery to have been housed in an Lutyens country house, primarily because the music clip he provides is so lovely. Whether or not you're interested in Anglo-Catholics (and you probably aren't, particularly), the singing is gorgeous, despite the awful recording quality - very scratchy, and occasionally rather muddy, but it is off a 78 from the 40s....)
