Chickenpox!

Further to sammee42's discussion, a while back, of home schooling, I can state that I've found another drawback.

One of my housemates - the Classicist, not either of the two mentioned earlier - who was homeschooled at primary level, has just come down with chickenpox, never having caught it at school. He's not a very happy bunny, especially as he now will have to rearrange all his tutes and classes, as he can't very well risk passing it on to the students....

Sonnet

On another note entirely, I mentioned a while back that a friend of mine had bet me I couldn't write a sonnet about angioplasty. I was somewhat bored yesterday, and the result was this fairly dire effort.

( But it did at least impress the engineer, especially with its petrarchaness )
