Giving a new meaning to fast food...

KFC have introduced a fish product for Lent, and are seeking a product endorsement from the Pope.

S. Peter recommends the fish?

I'm not sure what the appropriate response to this, other than I will eat a surplice† if Benedict goes for it... I mean, as a good German, if he's going to endorse fishy fast-food joints, it surely ought to be Nordsee?

† Easier to find than mitres, especially in my neck of the woods

I've walked past a few Nordsee places (plaices???) in my time but strangely my husband never seems to want to go in.....

That would presumably be fried cod, then, for a fried-day?

That icon is brilliant! Although perhaps it should be Stephen's feet sticking up and Awkward Davies hauling him out by one ankle.
