Giving a new meaning to fast food...
KFC have introduced a fish product for Lent, and are seeking a product endorsement from the Pope.
S. Peter recommends the fish?
I'm not sure what the appropriate response to this, other than I will eat a surplice† if Benedict goes for it... I mean, as a good German, if he's going to endorse fishy fast-food joints, it surely ought to be Nordsee?
† Easier to find than mitres, especially in my neck of the woods

There`s no way B16 agrees with this.
I wonder if they had the nerve to ask this from JP2, if he was still alive. I don`t think so.
If you`ll have to eat a surplice, I`ll eat an alb, out of solidarity.

I'd imagine that the Pope's secretaries have to deal with a lot of odd mail, but that really is just rude - and sounds like the punchline to a bad joke.†
†In fact, there is a bad joke about the Vatican accepting sponsorship for the line in the Lord's Prayer from Hovis... but that's beside the point.
