Why, oh why can't I find any clips from House of Cards on You Tube, leaving me unable to demonstrate to an American friend why the moment in the Hogfather film where Death says 'You might think that, but I couldn't possibly comment' is, while admittedly gratuitous and borderline OOC, screamingly funny?

This sounds more fun than I expected! I'm sorry I missed it...

I'd been wondering if it was worth getting or not. I might get it now...

Can you buy House of Cards on DVD? I missed it first time round, and the more people talk about it, the more I think it's the sort of thing I'd love!

I've been looking for clips of HoC on youtube as well, because I'd really love a taster of it and the DVDs are fiendishly expensive. No sign, though. Woe.

Though I feel a bit sorry for Richardson in Hogfather. I mean, he must have been a bit sick of Urquhart's shadow following him around.

A little off-topic, but: anyone remember Richardson in Porterhouse Blue? That's my real fave (although HoC was wonderful of course). I still find myself singing the theme music for PB sometimes.

to live and die in Porterhouse, dii-ves in omniaaaa
I finally watched a borrowed DVD or PB in the Autumn - Richardson was terrific, although the desire to throw heavy objects at the rest of the characters did get in teh way of complete enjoyment of the programme.

I don't know - it's _so_ extreme, you may find yourself looking at your own place with a more indulgent eye? (I was most amused by the 'aristocratic' fancy-dress party - Prince Harry would have fit right in).
