Stunning image of a dust cloud around Fomalhaut (Alpha Piscis Austrini). And yes, New Scientist are right, it does look like the Eye.

A friend of mine works on dust clouds. I wonder if I should be worried about what looks back at him?

Only if he starts muttering strangely to himself as the Evil Force bends him inexorably to his will.

He does mutter to himself strangely, but then he did as an undergraduate, so I'm not sure if this is of any significance. I will watch out for him addressing remarks to 'my precious', though!
