Actually, it isn't a cheat: either the use in Doctor Who is a co-incidence, or the scriptwriters were making a deliberate reference. It can be found in a pre-war film with a smashing soundtrack :)

Oh, and do watch GQ. It's funny, well acted, and doesn't sneer at science fiction or its fans, though it does send up some of their sillier tendencies...

1 is correct. 12 is considerably more family friendly (and is a hideously obscure quotation, though the film itself is well known. It's theoretically a book adaptation, but has little in common with it other than names and setting. Oddly enough, I still love both.)
