I enjoyed it very much. You make a good point about the hand mines as normalisation of body modification/horror. I really liked Missy as sort-of-working-with-the-Doctor in this episode in a way that allowed her space to be a more complex character, including her genuine horror at finding herself on Skaro.

Re. denial of anything to do with sex, an argument might be made that strictly speaking, Missy only denies "reproductive frenzy" rather than non-reproductive sex...
