Truly Reading is much more interesting than anyone knows, and the tourist board really should get to work.

I wouldn't have thought they get many pilgimages to Reading Gaol (or YOI Reading as I suppose one should call it :) ), but you never know....


I'm just stunned to learn that (a) Rimbaud lived there and (b) that they had a local politician called Lorenzo Quelch, who sounds like a refugee from Trollope (or Dickens).
