Oh, I could shake you! You really did do it, and it's brilliant, and I'm weeping, and how could you! I think you really captured Harriet amazingly well here in our little glimpses of her, and her growing resignation. And the Dowager Duchess with her rambling thoughts, bringing in Alice--I wrote a paper once on just how much DLS uses Lewis Carrol. And I'm talking about that to avoid thinking about what you did to my beloved Peter and Harriet. I'm thinking about all of the ramifications--the criminals who will never be brought to justice. Will Miss Twitterton marry Crutchley after all? How awful! And think of the scandal at Shrewsbury when the poison-pen succeeds in killing her victims!
