This reminds me of a comment that I am not sure I made the last time you mentioned this; one problem with the consecration of women bishops in the Anglican church is the relationships with Rome and the Orthodox. I can't see the Roman Catholics having women ordained within my lifetime and it surely will hurt ecumenical work?

On a more theological note, would the Roman Catholic Church recognize the validity of the consecration of a man as priest by a female bishop (who was validly installed under Anglican canon law)? Maybe denying the validity of such an appointment makes one a quasi-Donatist ...
